Payroll
The hiring and employment of staff involves certain procedures which our back office team is more than able to support and assist you with. Utilising our flexible yet robust payroll system, RSM Malta ensures the timely processing of payroll requirements whether the client has one employee or hundreds. Our team can generate and submit the necessary returns ensuring that legal and fiscal payroll related obligations are fully adhered to. RSM Malta will effectively become the client’s payroll department.
Our payroll services, which can be taken in full or in part include:
- Payroll summary reports and payment lists
- Employee pay slips for the individual employees which can either be emailed, mailed or sent by whatever other means that is agreed with client
- Preparation of Cheque, bank instruction and / or bank transfer
- Submission of statutory forms (FS3, FS4, FS5 and FS7) to the Inland Revenue Department
- Submission of forms to the Employment and Training Corporation upon commencement and termination of employment of each employee.
The outsourcing of the payroll function will ensure that the client is relieved from the issues relating to key (payroll) staff being on vacation, ill, or having left the company, system availability, licence fees and statutory costs of maintaining the payroll system. It will also help to ensure that the client is updated with all statutory and regulatory changes and last but not least avoid compliance and reduction fines that would be imposed by the Inland Revenue Department and the Employment and Training Corporation for non compliance.
